Job Description
1. New Product Development
§ Study market to understand market requirement, new product launch.
§ Collecting samples of new product launched by OEM
§ Study and revers engineering of collected samples to understand raw material, fitment.
§ Coordinating with supplier for developing prototype sample & drawing
§ Testing the physical fitment of part & lab test
§ Collecting costing from vendor for mass production
§ Study of costing and share the same with commercial team
§ Conducting market study, competitors & OEM quality and cost study
§ Creating part code for product identification
§ Documentation of part code creation
2. Launching of New product
§ Coordinating with marketing for initial launch and first indenting of new launched product
§ Ensure availability of product within 45 day of receipt of indenting
§ Checking the quality of fist lot.
§ Ensure better and competent packing of product as per the market requirement.
§ Verification of work instruction and conducting process inspection
3. PDIR – Pre-Dispatch Inspection report
§ Verifying pre dispatch inspection report before dispatching first lot.
4. Preparing product circular and coordinate with marketing team for circulating the same with marketing team
5. Vendor Development & evaluation
§ Identifying & evaluating new vendors on specific parameters Financial stability, communication, technical capability, customer base, quality parameters, team size, infrastructure.
§ Studying the product range of vendor
6. Customer complaint handling
§ Attending customer complaints and resolving the complaints
§ Visiting markets & resolving customers queries
7. Cost reduction
§ Initiating VAVE projects at vendor end for process improvement and cost reduction
8. Ensure indenting vs actual supply on new & existing products by coordinating with vendors
9. Reduction in inventory in number of days
10. Process & quality improvement in current product to reduce quality related issues
11.  Preparing USP documents and USP visuals for sales promotion
